About Me

My career began much like many others—a bit on the cliché side. A small-town kid from Pittsburgh with big dreams of making it in the Big Apple. I followed a lead for a job at Gotham working on a "large beauty brand," unaware that it was for the global powerhouse, Maybelline New York. I jumped at the opportunity, and within a month, I was on a bus to New York City with little more than a suitcase and a stomach full of butterflies, eager for the adventure ahead.

Before that leap, I spent a few years at a small agency working on creative projects that, while valuable, didn’t quite light the fire I was hoping for. Think healthcare ads and commercial oil valves—not exactly glamorous. But the silver lining? I discovered MANIAC, a local fashion and lifestyle magazine. Over time, I took on the creative direction of the magazine, producing over 10 issues in two years. This is where I got my first real taste of the beauty and fashion world—the shoots, the aesthetics, the fast-paced environment. I was hooked and knew I had found my true passion.

At Gotham, I honed my skills in creative concepting for global product launches for Maybelline New York. I climbed the ranks from Art Director to Senior Art Director, then ACD, Creative Director, and now, Executive Creative Director. Today, I lead a talented team of over 13 creatives, striving for excellence in everything we do. I’m hands-on, offering clear, constructive feedback to push the creative forward and help my team reach new heights.

As an Executive Creative Director, my leadership style is centered around empathy, transparency, and respect. I believe in treating everyone—regardless of title—as equals. My mantra is simple: take me off the pedestal and talk to me like you would any other coworker. I want my team to feel comfortable being honest, asking for help when needed, and always knowing that my door is open. Together, we collaborate to create impactful, innovative work.

With over 14 years of experience at Gotham and Maybelline, I've become deeply immersed in the beauty industry. From initial concept to post-production, I’ve had the privilege of leading every stage of a project. I’ve worked with top-tier directors, photographers, and models to produce full 360-degree global campaigns that connect with consumers across multiple platforms and touchpoints.

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, spending time with my dogs, Honey and Kiara, traveling, or—more often than not—redecorating my house for what feels like the hundredth time. When I’m not in NYC, you’ll find me relaxing with my partner, Frank, at our favorite getaway, Rehoboth Beach, DE.
